Elected
members are those 7 individuals who are elected to positions on the Board. Each trustee is elected to a 4-year term at
2-year intervals. All are volunteers who
receive no compensation for their service as Board members.
Appointed
members are those appointed to the Board by the President. The appointees serve until the next
election. They have the same
responsibilities and obligations as elected members.

for the Prairie Skies Public Library District Board members' conduct appear in
the bylaws and such other written policy documents as the Board may from time
to time adopt.
